This tour is characterized by wide spectrums such as the authentic Korean dining versus the fancy western course menu, 1800 years ago heritages versus upscale cityscape, the island surrounded by the sea versus the tall mountain in the main land.
You will travel SEOUL first and transfer to SUWON – SOKCHO – GYEONGJU – BUSAN – JEJU clockwise.
Historical point of view, you will study about JOSEON DYNASTY at SEOUL and SILLA DYNASTY at GYEONJGU.
To let you show the natural scenery, we selected SEORAKSAN MOUNTAIN and JEJU ISLAND.
Regardless of the places, you will visit, or pass by several Buddhist temples because Buddhism was chosen by governing class and they are located at deep mountains (at that time). No need to look as a religion, it is just regarded as major heritage.

17:00-18:00 YANGDONG VILLAGE. Travel through time. This is the clan village since early JOSEON DYNASTY. There are several over 400 years old houses, mostly owned by YANGBAN (noble class) families. YANGDONG VILLLAGE was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List together with HAHOE VILLAGE in ANDONG CITY.

09:30-10:30 SEOKGURAM GROTTO, which is located at 750 meters, or 2,460 feet at TOHAMSAN MOUNTAIN. So, our car will drive along the winding uphill for 20 minutes.
11:00-12:00 Visit BULGUKSA TEMPLE. This was the second biggest temple during SILLA dynasty. But, it became the biggest temple after getting the damage by Mongolian. This temple has two famous National Treasures – DABOTAP PADODA, SEOKGATAP PADODA.
12:30-13:30 Lunch Lunch with authentic Korean meal. But, this can be customized for your preference. If budget is OK, we recommend you have a Special Meal with HANJEONGSIK at 350 years old house.
14:00-15:00 DAEREUNGWON ROYAL TOMBS. Out of few hundreds tombs scattered around GYEONGJU, you will visit the major complex of few royal tombs at the core part of GYEONGJU. Also, you will have the chance of going inside a tomb called CHEONMACHONG.
15:00-16:00 NATIONAL MUSEUM of GYEONGJU. You will visit three exhibition halls. 1) collection excavated from two royal tombs, 2) Ancient Buddhism collection hall,
and the collection from DONGGUNG and WOLJI POND.
16:30-18:00 Light hiking at NAMSAN MOUNTAIN. This mountain was regarded as holy place. NAMSAN is home to many historic and cultural remains, and is now part of the historic area around GYEONGJU that was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage in 2000.

10:00-11:00 BUSAN TOWER at YONGDUSAN PARK. Panoramic view of Busan port and old town. This spot is not famous on the guide book, but, our company would like to select this place for the first time BUSAN visitor.
11:00-12:30 GUKJE MARKET and JAGALCHI FISH MARKET. GUKJE MARKET has witnessed two major historical events: the liberation of KOREA and the subsequent KOREAN WAR. Right after the liberation, Japanese goods entered in bulk and Korean refugees who had fled to BUSAN started businesses at this market, which was once the nation’s largest center for business and logistics. Today, it is a great place to buy traditional Korean ware, traditional bedding, and hand-made crafts.

14:00-15:00 GAMCHEON-DONG VILLLAGE. The least developed residence complex looks like Favela in Brazil, but it is very safe place.
15:30-16:30 PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT MEMORIAL. During KOREAN WAR, the government was moved to BUSAN for 1,000 days. This was a residence of DR. LEE, the president of SOUTH KOREA during KOREAN WAR.
16:30-17:00 Drive along hill side residential complex. BUSAN people call this as SANBOK-DORO. During KOERAN WAR, many people refugees built small cottages at the hill. This is the origin of current hill side residential area.
17:00-18:00 Walk around SEOMYEON STREET. This is the most popular & vigorous young people place in BUSAN. There are hundreds of restaurants, cafes and cosmetic shops.

13:30-14:30 Drive along HAGWI-AEWOL sea side road. This time works a kind of orientation about JEJU. Your guide will explain about geography, culture and agriculture of JEJU.
14:30-15:00 HYEOBJAE BEACH, is famous for jade color sea water. Also, there is small island in front of you. This is good photo spot on the background of the sea.
15:30-16:00 OSULLOC TEA MUSEUM & CAFE. This is the most popular place among man-made places. Two show rooms built a the corner of wide greed tea farm. The green tea cake and ice-cream is worth to taste.
16:30-17:30 YONGMEORI COAST + SANBANGSAN MOUNTAIN. For 30 minutes, we will walk around the coast slowly. You will see some JEJU guys enjoy fishing and some old ladies selling live seafood with SOJU; This is just open-air bar. After then, move to nearby SANBANGSAN MOUNTAIN by the car.

East coast of JEJU

10:00-11:00 MANJANGGUL CAVE. As the lava tube stretches for as far as an approximate 8,928 m, its length ranks amongst the top 10 in the world. It is also the second longest lava tube in Jeju island. It is regarded as having significant scientific and heritage value, owing to its excellent condition of preservation despite its age of formation (about 300,000 to 200,000 years ago). 11:30-13:00 SEONGSAN ILCHULBONG. The highlight of today. Situated on the eastern seaboard of JEJU ISLAND and said to resemble a gigantic ancient castle, this tuff cone is 182 meters high, has a preserved bowl-like crater and also displays diverse inner structures resulting from the sea cliff.

15:00-15:30 SEONGEUP FOLK VILLAGE. SEONGEUP FOLK VILLAGE. Here, you can see the real village having 100-200 years old houses. SEONGEUP FOLK VILLAGE shows the unique culture of JEJU; the black lava walls and the stone grandfather statues (HARUBANG), which have become a prime feature of the landscape.
16:00-17:00 YONGNUNI OREUM. OREUM means small mountain formed by eruption of lave long time ago. No worry, for the last few thousands, there is no record of eruption. The reason why we plug this place in the schedule is to show you another aspect scenery at the mountain.

10:00-11:00 CHEONJIYEON WATERFALL. This waterfall is one of the three famous waterfalls of JEJU, the other two are CHEONJEYEON WATERFALL and JEONGBANG WATERFALL. In order to reach the waterfall, visitors must walk on a landscaped trail. CHEONJIYEON WATERFALL is also known for its diverse plant and animal life, as the path to the waterfall goes through a garden of subtropical plants.
