KOREA is not English friendly country, which means there are not many English information for foreign tourists…if you are looking for the place outside SEOUL. I.e., Traveling outside SEOUL is not common activity for most of tourists from overseas countries.
Though KOREA is not big country, 1/4 part of KOREA is not easy to be chosen for day trip due to long driving. For example, if you plan to travel over several cities, it is non-sense to come back to SEOUL every day.
Bottom line
- If you visit more than 3 places outside SEOUL (let’s say longer than 200KM for oneway) on the same day, or
- If you want to travel several cities in distance order (e.g., SEOUL – MT. SEORAKSAN – GYEONGJU – BUSAN), you had better hire the car + driver.
That’s why more than 50% of our tours are being provided under personalized itineraries. This means our Sales Desk need to discuss with the clients over many emails.
